All-in-one versatility

Hightower has always been a versatile trail bike. More nimble than its larger sibling, Megatower, and more suitable for steep terrain than its cousin Tallboy. Hightower shines when trails cover everything from technical to flowing sections and climbing.

The VPP rear shock mounting creates an almost linear leverage curve, meaning it smooths impacts of all sizes while maintaining the kind of progressivity usually reserved for our bike V10 DH!

140mm travel in back, complemented by 150mm up front, gives Hightower just slightly more suspension than the first generation model. Combined with a slacker head angle of 65 degrees, Hightower still sits in the sweet spot. Yet with a bit more reserve for those »oh no, this won't work« moments!

Balancing stiffness and weight savings in all the right places is a hallmark of all carbon frames from Santa Cruz, and Hightower raises the bar even higher. The advanced composite chassis handles all types of trails well, holds its line, and responds to rider input while isolating drivetrain forces.

Easy customization

Hightower also includes a feature to adjust your bike experience—the flip chip. In the »high« setting, the BB height is raised for more challenging technical trails (or when running 27.5+ wheels).

In the »low« setting, the rear shock becomes more progressive and gives you extra reserve before bottom-out. No matter what mood you're in, Hightower can be tuned to suit your individual preference.

Refinement and practicality

And when it comes to refinement, the frame has plenty of room for a water bottle and threaded BB for convenience. It features optimized cable routing for better shifting efficiency, easier maintenance, and no frame rub. Plus, the frame is well protected in the most exposed areas (chain slap, under the drivetrain, rear shock has a mud guard, and the downtube for shuttle use).

Lifetime warranty on the frame, on bearing replacement, and carbon wheels ensures Hightower will be a beast for many years to come.
