The well-known Ripstick 106 returns for the new 2021/2022 season with numerous innovations that will enhance your riding experience both in fresh powder and on firm, technically demanding terrain. The progressive design of the Elan Ripstick skis is distinguished by new Carbon Line technology, which upgrades the asymmetrical core above the inside edge with multiple carbon inserts for improved direct power transfer. Attention has also been given to the outer shape of the skis, with a narrower tip design that improves flotation and reduces unwanted vibrations. The tail of the Ripstick 106 skis also contains less material than the previous model. The result of the redesigned tail construction of the Ripstick skis enables easier maneuverability in turns and allows you to choose between smooth or aggressive turn finishes. To further reduce vibrations caused by changing snow conditions, the skis are fitted with VaporTip inserts, which also ensure stability at higher speeds. The internal wooden core throughout the full length is completed by lightweight, hollow carbon tubes that follow the curve and maintain light handling and torsional rigidity. Technologies

• Amphibio Profile: Elan's innovative system combining rocker and camber. Pre-tensioned camber profile on the inside ensures precision, uncompromising edge grip and stability, while the rocker on the other side forgives mistakes and enhances turn ease.
• Tubelite Construction: the ski's foundation consists of a lightweight, laminated wooden core, which is completed along its full length by two longitudinal hollow tubes made from carbon fibres. The result is responsiveness, stability and a reduced core weight without compromising ride characteristics.
• SST Construction: the edge, called SST, provides fast, agile and direct power transfer from the ski to the snow, improving performance.
• Amphibio Carbon Line: an asymmetrically shaped core that positions carbon fibres at the height of the inside edge, improving direct power transfer.
