The versatile bestseller Scarpa Maestrale returns with numerous innovations that improve both climbing performance and descent reliability. One of the key innovations is the use of a new plastic compound for the boot shell called Pebax R-New®, which maintains the same characteristics even when temperatures drop well below freezing while delivering exceptional durability. Since the materials in this compound are sourced from biological resources, it is environmentally friendly. With a new inner liner, Scarpa has ensured perfect fit to the shape of your foot and comfort thanks to flat seams in the forefoot area. The heel of the Maestrale boot features the Speed Lock Plus system, which allows friction-free walking across a range of 60 degrees and impressive rigidity while skiing. Since many touring pursuits involve walking on varied terrain without skis, the Maestrale is finished with a Vibram Cayman Pro sole for reliable grip, and the toe of the boots has a notch for attaching automatic crampons and using traditional frame bindings.
