In response to the demands of all serious freeride skiers, Marker presents the innovative Kingpin 13 touring binding, which will enable all feats in the backcountry, steep couloirs and the highest peaks. The Kingpin 13 binding is distinguished by simple operation and a relatively lightweight frameless design with full performance. At the head of the binding, Marker refined it with three springs instead of two, delivering as much as 50% greater performance in the most demanding conditions. The innovative Kingpin 13 touring binding is designed for aggressive skiers who prioritize reliability during all-day climbs and demanding descents. At the heel section, a system reminiscent of alpine armor engagement is used instead of pins, providing strong grip of the rear section and stability. In case of overload, the binding is finished on the side with two rollers for lateral release, while vertical release is controlled via a preloaded plate, just like with alpine bindings. Kingpin 13 are the first bindings awarded the DIN/ISO 13992:2007 certificate, meaning they were assigned a safety certificate by TUV for certified DIN release. With Kingpin 13, Marker has thus offered freeride skiers a light and capable binding that will reliably accompany them on all their adventures.
