The Best of Everything

Hightower has been a versatile trail bike from the start. More nimble than its bigger brother, Megatower, and better suited to steep terrain than its cousin Tallboy. Hightower shines when trails span everything from technical to flowing sections and climbing.

VPP rear suspension mount creates a near-linear leverage curve, meaning it soaks up impacts of all sizes while maintaining the kind of progression typically reserved for our bike V10 DH!

140mm of rear travel paired with 150mm up front gives Hightower slightly more suspension than the first-generation model. Combined with a slacker 65-degree head angle, Hightower still sits in the sweet spot. But with a bit more reserve for those »oh no, this won't work« moments!

Balancing stiffness and weight savings in all the right places is a hallmark of all Santa Cruz carbon frames, but Hightower flies that flag even higher. The advanced composite chassis handles every type of trail well, holds your line, and responds to rider input while isolating pedal power.

Easy Customization

Hightower also features a »flip chip« to adjust your ride experience. In »high« mode, the BB height increases for those more challenging technical trails (or when you swap in 27.5+ wheels).

In »low« mode, the rear shock becomes more progressive and gives you extra reserve before bottoming out. Whatever your preference, Hightower adapts to suit your individual taste.

Refinement and Functionality

And speaking of taste, the frame has room for a water bottle and threaded BB for convenience. It features optimized cable routing for better shifting performance, easier maintenance, and no frame rub. Plus, the frame is well protected at the most vulnerable areas (chain slap, under the bottom bracket, rear shock has a mudguard, and the downtube for shuttle protection).

A lifetime warranty on the frame, bearing replacement, and carbon wheels ensures Hightower will be a rocket for years to come.
