As Glen Plake says: "You need just one pair of skis - Ripstick, for all types of snow and all conditions." With the core freeride concept from the previous model, but with improvements that will add even more "horsepower" to the skis. At 96 millimeters wide underfoot and with internal reinforcements made of fiberglass, the Ripstick skis will deliver the right amount of torsional stability and, thanks to the Amphibio profile, precision, excellent edge grip and easy turn initiation. The key feature of the redesigned model is Carbon Line technology, which upgrades the asymmetrical core of the skis above the inside edge with multiple carbon inserts for improved direct power transfer. They also refined the external shape of the skis, tapering the tip to improve float and reduce unwanted vibrations. The tail of the Ripstick 96 skis likewise uses less material than the previous model. The result of the redesigned tail construction on the Ripstick skis enables easier maneuverability in turns and a choice between a smooth or aggressive turn finish. To further reduce vibrations caused by changing snow conditions, the skis are equipped with VaporTip inserts, which also ensure stability at higher speeds. The internal wooden core throughout the entire length is completed by lightweight hollow carbon tubes that follow the ski's curve and maintain lightness and torsional stability.

• Fiberglass Reinforcement: Internal reinforcements made of fiberglass significantly improve the torsional stability of the skis and optimize flex
• Vaportip Reinforcement: Composite inserts placed in the ski core at the tip and tail help reduce weight and unwanted vibrations of the base and ensure stable riding and smooth turns in the most demanding conditions
• Tubelite Woodcore: the basic composite of the Tubelite core is a lightweight laminated wood core with two parallel carbon tubes integrated into it, which follow the curve of the ski. The ski core thus delivers responsiveness, performance and low weight.
• Amphibio Carbon Line: an asymmetrically formed core that places carbon fibers at the height of the inside edge and thus improves direct power transfer.
• SST Construction: the side edge, called SST, ensures fast, agile and direct power transfer from the ski to the snow and thus improves performance
• Amphibio Profile: Elan's innovative system combining rocker and camber. Pre-tensioned camber profile on the inside provides precision, uncompromising edge grip and stability, while rocker on the other side forgives mistakes and aids easy turn initiation.
