Hawx Ultra XTD ski boots offer exceptional fit, stability and responsiveness combined with the mobility of Backland models. The boots feature a narrower fit (98 mm), and Atomic has added numerous features to them.

Memory Fit technology ensures individual adjustment in just a few minutes. True Flex technology gives you the same boot stiffness across a wide temperature range. The new Memory Fit 3D Platinum Light liner offers breathability and eliminates pressure on sensitive areas of your feet, and with heat treatment it conforms perfectly to your foot shape. This provides your feet with even better support. The GripWalk sole ensures compatibility with various bindings, and the 35mm Velcro strap provides better grip of the ski boot on the shin area. You'll also love the Energy Backbone technology, which reinforces the ski boots at key points and thus ensures perfect energy transfer, precise turns, extra power and edge grip.

• Prolite construction: An innovative way of building touring boots that starts by shaping the shell with minimal weight and volume, then reinforces it only in the most loaded areas. Traditional shell weight reduction usually proceeds in the opposite direction (from maximum volume to minimum thickness).
• Carbon Spine: Reinforcement on the back of the boot, made from rigid carbon fibers.
• Frictionless Pivot: A side screw made from flexible and durable polymer provides completely natural movement and facilitates climbing.
• Memory Fit Platinum Light: The inner boot of the touring boot consists of a liner that, compared to other models, allows thermoformable adjustment in the heel area, side of the foot and tongue.
• Free Lock 4.0: A quick and easy system for switching between walk mode and ski mode, which delivers impressive stiffness and rigidity.
• Quick Release Cam Strap: A 40 mm strap that improves power and performance during descent.
• True Flex: It is an occasional fact that the shell of touring boots softens in higher temperatures and becomes completely rigid in lower temperatures. The True Flex system describes a plastic composition resistant to temperature changes – the boot has the same characteristics in variable conditions as it had when fitted in the store.
• Memory Fit 3D: The inner boot of the touring boot is made using the Memory Fit 3D system, which describes pre-shaped thermoformable foam that reduces the potential for discomfort on first use. In some areas, the foam is replaced by Dynashape material, which has the ability to continuously adapt to your foot as you wear the touring boot. Depending on the inner liner version, Dynashape appears: Silver (at the heel), Gold (heel and side of foot areas) and Platinum. To fit as well as possible, the liner picks up the shape of your foot and leg through heat treatment. Thermal insulation of the inner boot is provided by 3M^TM Thinsulate insulating filling, which with finer fibers retains as much warm air in the core as possible, even if the boot gets wet.
