With the same characteristics as the Raider family, the Freeraider 14 is distinguished by the patented Snow Pack Proof system, which prevents snow buildup under the front springs of the binding, which in the FR14 boasts an adjustable and even higher level of release value ranging from 8 to 14. Already powerful ATK bindings, capable of handling extreme jumps and skiing at all limits, are equipped with the included Freeride Spacer, which is designed to deliver the performance of competitive alpine ski bindings. This blurs the line between bindings used exclusively for touring and those intended for the most aggressive freeriders. The insert, called the Freeride Spacer, brings a new level of torsional stiffness and direct energy transfer from the skier to the ski edge. The heel section of the binding features an integrated Elastic Response System®, which will optimize pressures and safety release only when truly necessary, despite large lateral loads, through slip and flex.

• UpHill Hardness Variator®: easily adjustable hardness of the binding head latch for uphill mode. The system is located at the front of the binding, above the pin levers and below the walk-ski mode switch lever.
• Cam Release System®: reigns among ATK's patented systems. It describes the construction and capability of the heel section, enabling hold and release of the boot in case of a fall. A preloaded spring pushes a special system against the heel pins, ensuring precise release according to the individually set value. The system's advantages are evident in uncompromising performance and stability of the touring boot under maximum loads (compared to other systems) and in the softest boot hold. System operation is extremely precise and achieves surprisingly low weight for its functionality. Release value is adjustable (5-12).
• Elastic Response System®: system that enables natural ski flex without unwanted release. This system consists of a spring mounted in the rear section of the binding. After load, the heel easily returns to its original position.
• Magneto® Heel Flaps: improved system of magnetic heel covers offering quick adjustment and 5 walking modes with the aid of a lever
• 25 mm adjustable sole is integrated into the heel section and enables quick and fine adjustments (up to 2 sizes)
• Ski-Brake Elastic Slide: integrated safety system in the rear section of the binding ensures constant lateral release without unwanted unlocking
• Freeride Spacer: bindings can be optionally equipped with a spacer that optimizes the gap between the boot and the upper layer of the ski. The spacer is fitted with an elastic slider that prevents uncontrolled release of the binding even in the most demanding turns and conditions. The spacer improves direct energy transfer from the skier to the ski.
• UpHill Hardness Variator®: easily adjustable hardness of the binding head latch for uphill mode. The system is located at the front of the binding, above the pin levers and below the walk-ski mode switch lever.
