Developed in collaboration with World Cup speed touring competitors, the touring skis Atomic Backland 65 are the ultimate weapon in the race against time. The lightweight construction of the skis combines poplar and cherry composites, and thanks to the carbon layer covering the entire surface of the skis, it contributes to rigidity. The Atomic Backland 65 skis finish at the front with the HRZN tip shape, which delivers 10% more surface area and improved flotation in fresh snow. At just 670 grams, they will help with lightweight climbing, and the adapted rocker profile provides uncompromising edge grip and stability on descents.

Features:

• Carbon Fiberglass: internal carbon plate insert covering the entire surface. The result shows in rigidity, stability and performance without adding weight.
• Ultra Light Woodcore: wood core combining poplar and cherry composites. Cherry wood is known for achieving low weight and high elasticity.
• HRZN Tech Tip: system that increases the surface area of the front of the skis by 10% to deliver excellent flotation in all snow
• Dura Cap Sidewall: side edge construction describes a rounded shape at the top of the junction with the top surface of the skis, which aids in edge hold and flotation
• Directional Shape: side edge shape increases the contact surface of the edge with the base and thus improves edge grip and ski stability
• Carbon Backbone: ultra-light carbon inserts running along the centre of the entire ski length. The result is high rigidity, torsional stability and edge grip without added weight.
