Völkl Blaze 106 Touring Skis

Völkl Blaze 106 Touring Skis

The Völkl Blaze 106 is designed for all skiers who need playful and agile skis that give you excellent control through turns.

The Blaze skis truly shine in deep and freshly fallen snow at altitude. On the descent, their tip rocker delivers outstanding feel. These capable skis will let you conquer many slopes, yet their width delivers more enjoyment on the way down. The technologies that make the Völkl Blaze stand out are: 3D Radius Sidecut technology, which uses three different radii in one ski to deliver outstanding responsiveness and versatility regardless of terrain. With these skis you'll handle long, fast turns and responsive, easy short turns. The wooden core with two different wood densities provides lightness, flex, and the stiffness you need when it matters most. A thin layer of titanal under the bindings keeps the skis stiff and stable when you're carving hard on groomed runs.

The Blaze is a versatile touring ski that performs excellently even when you decide to spend the day on groomed slopes.

Technologies:

• Multilayer Woodcore - a blend of beech and poplar enables lightweight construction while maintaining sufficient stiffness for demanding turns
• 3D Radius Sidecut - three different radii in one ski. Longer radius at the tip and tail, shorter radius in the middle. Provides more control and requires less effort when changing direction
• Suspensions tips and tails - technology that dampens impacts and gives the ski more stability and float on soft snow
• Titanal binding platform - a thin layer of titanal under the bindings gives the skis higher stiffness and better stability in turns
