Whether you're a classic ski tourer or an ambitious alpinist - the Marker Alpinist touring binding will follow you uncompromisingly on all routes with its reliable and lightweight construction. An aluminium base in the toe area is complemented by carbon fibre reinforcement, which provides complete rigidity during aggressive skiing. Because skis flex convexly against the ground under load, the Marker Alpinist binding features Active Length Compensation technology, which allows the binding to move during compression in turns and prevents unwanted release. The toe is additionally covered with a layer of elastomers for protection against mechanical damage and easier insertion, and is further enhanced by an Anti-Ice system that prevents snow buildup around the pins. The minimalist heel binding offers 3 angles in walk mode and simple cover switching using a ski pole.
