If most people associate the word carbon with something light and fragile, ATK with the C-Raider 10 AP bindings proves just the opposite. Through numerous innovations and development, carbon becomes synonymous with an almost indestructible material that achieves surprisingly low weight.

The new C-Raider 10 AP bindings blend the existing Crest and R12 families in both performance and component composition. The biggest innovation is in the design of the front part (binding head), which is composed of carbon inserts, reducing the weight from the existing 330 grams (in a comparable R12 model) to a surprising 325 grams! The heel part of the bindings is constructed based on the aforementioned R12 model; vertical release is enabled by the well-known, precise Cam Release System, which, in addition to reliable release in case of a fall, also provides a soft engagement of the touring boot thanks to Rolling-In Technology.

Technologies:

• AP Brake System: Activated with a simple motion. This mechanism ensures safe usage and improves the level of automation in the bindings.
• Cam Release System®: A leading patent by ATK. This system describes the construction and performance of the heel section, allowing for proper engagement and boot release in case of a fall. The pre-tensioned spring pushes against the heel pins, ensuring precise release according to the set value. The system’s benefits lie in uncompromising performance, stability of the touring boot under heavy loads, and the softest boot engagement. The release value is adjustable (5-12).
• Elastic Response System®: This system allows for natural flex (bending) of the skis without unwanted boot release. The system includes a spring mounted in the rear of the bindings, and after compression, the heel moves back into its original position.
• Rolling In System®: The titanium material of the boot heel locks is coated with a thin layer of hardened steel, extending the lifespan of the bindings and protecting them from excessive wear. The engagement of the touring boot is also facilitated by rotating tongue pins in the heel U system.
• Snow Pack Proof System®: The unique design of the front part prevents unwanted snow buildup under the spring, ensuring easy boot engagement.
• Magneto Heel Flap System®: The heel construction allows for 5 different tilt modes and, thanks to magnetic inserts, enables quick switching between them.
