As part of an entirely new concept in touring skis, Dynafit introduces the Blacklight model. Dynafit's vision was to design capable skis that can handle the longest expeditions, steepest ascents, and technically demanding tours. They succeeded: the result is the lightest touring skis with exceptional performance. The interior of the Blacklight skis is made from lightweight and durable Paulownia wood, which on the upper surface across the full width of the midsection is complemented by a carbon sheet that contributes to excellent stability. The uncompromising quality of these skis has been proven in the heights of the Himalayas - alpine ski mountaineer Benedikt Böhm set a new speed record on Dhaulagiri 7 with the Blacklight.

The Blacklight touring skis with an 80 millimetre width underfoot feature a rocker profile at the tip and tail, which provides uncompromising control at high speeds on icy and steep surfaces. The Blacklight therefore performs excellently on all terrain, from lower slopes to high alpine, and is equally at home skiing in softer snow conditions as on icy couloirs. The front of the Dynafit skis has a shape suitable for use with touring skins with the Top Race Fix elastic fastening system, which further helps reduce weight.
