Trail running shoe Akasha is renowned as footwear with the best and most capable cushioning across the entire La Sportiva range and is therefore suited for tackling the longest running adventures. The outsole compound, called Frixion Red, will ensure grip and step reliability on varied terrain. The midsole of the Akasha is finished with an Eva Injected foam layer, whose key characteristic is uncompromising cushioning and retention of properties throughout the entire lifespan of use. This already high level of cushioning is further complemented by Cushion Platform, which reinforces the most heavily loaded areas. The roomier interior of the La Sportiva Akasha running shoes has been finished with an internal 5 millimeter Ortholite Mountain Running insole, which contributes to comfort, rapid drying and prevention of bacterial growth. The front of the Akasha ends with airy mesh fabric and additional reinforcement Dynamic ProTechTion^TM, which protects against excessive wear and offers impact protection during running.
