A Perfect Blend

Since its inception, the Hightower has been a versatile trail bike, more nimble than its bigger sibling, the Megatower, and better suited for steeper climbs than its cousin, the Tallboy. The Hightower excels across various terrains, from technical trails to flowing tracks and climbs.

Its VPP rear suspension offers a nearly linear leverage curve, efficiently handling impacts of all sizes while maintaining a level of progression typically reserved for the V10 DH!

With 145mm of rear travel complemented by a 150mm front fork, the Hightower features slightly more suspension than the first-generation model. Combined with a 65° head angle, the Hightower provides stability and confidence when the trails get challenging.

The stiff yet lightweight carbon frame of the Santa Cruz Hightower 3 holds its line well, responds to rider input, and isolates pedaling power for efficient climbing.

Adaptable Design

The Hightower includes a flip chip for tailored riding experiences. In the “high” setting, it increases BB height for rougher trails or when fitted with 27.5+ wheels.

In “low” mode, the rear shock becomes more progressive, providing extra cushioning before reaching the end of its travel. The Hightower can be easily tuned to match your riding style and mood.

The frame has room for a water bottle, a threaded BB for convenience, and optimized cable routing for smooth shifting and easy maintenance without rubbing. Additionally, the frame is well-protected in high-wear areas, including the chainstay, downtube, and a shock mudguard.
