The La Sportiva Akasha II trail running shoe with excellent shock absorption, is designed for long distances, ultra marathons, ultra hikes, and for use during long training sessions.
The Akasha trail running shoes are renowned for having the best and most high-performance cushioning in the entire La Sportiva range, making them perfect for conquering the longest distances. The dual compound FriXion XT outsole, with the help of Trail Rocker™, promotes natural movement (outer heel-inner toe) while running. The midsole of the Akasha is perfected with an Eva-injected foam layer, characterized by uncompromising cushioning and retention of properties throughout the entire use. The already high level of cushioning is further complemented by the Cushion Platform, which reinforces the most heavily stressed areas. The spacious interior of the La Sportiva Akasha trail running shoe is enhanced with a 5 mm Ortholite Mountain Running insole, which contributes to comfort, quick drying, and bacteria prevention. The front part of the Akasha is finished with breathable, mesh fabric and additional Dynamic ProTechTion™ reinforcement, which protects against excessive wear and provides protection against impacts while running.
