The ultimate freeride touring boots Maestrale XT are renowned as an upgrade of the legendary Maestrale RS, offering the highest level of stiffness and performance. The revamped, freeride-oriented Maestrale XT reaches an impressive flex index of 130, making it suitable for the steepest slopes and most demanding terrains. The shell XT is made of solid Grilamid plastic reinforced with carbon fibers, delivering uncompromising stiffness comparable to alpine ski boots, providing an incredible sense of security, reliability, and top-tier performance. The improved, even sturdier bi-injected construction with a dual-buckle system now features a more minimalist design, reducing weight and enhancing precision. Maestrale XT is complemented by a plastic insert between the shell and the inner boot, increasing the forward lean by 2 degrees for greater performance and power transfer when skiing on the toughest terrains. The lower part of the boot features the well-known Wave Closure system, ensuring security and reliability as the two traditionally formed aluminum buckles on the upper part. To further enhance performance, the upper part of the Maestrale XT touring boot is finished with a Booster Strap, equipped with a Recco safety system that facilitates search operations in case of an avalanche. Comfort and foot grip are further enhanced by the internal, thermoformable Scarpa Pro Flex Ride liner, featuring merino wool for thermoregulation.

• Wave Closure System: Scarpa's patented touring boot closure system combines a single buckle with a cable, offering the same grip and fit as two traditional buckles. This system reduces boot weight and improves usability.

• Thor Rack XT system: A newly designed buckle with 5 teeth, each allowing 7mm less foot retention. The buckle extends during ascents thanks to an added internal insert, while maintaining optimal stability.
• Web Frame Carbon Design: A mesh-structured reinforcement of carbon fibers on the sides and rear of the boot provides additional strength in high-stress areas.
• Zeppa XT Technology: A plastic insert located between the heel of the inner boot and the shell structure. Zeppa adjusts the forward lean by 2 degrees, enhancing performance, power transmission, and precision.
• Booster Power Strap: An improved Velcro® strap design for maximum fit and power transfer.
• RECCO® Technology: A built-in signal transmission system for avalanche rescue operations.
• Scarpa Intuition Pro Flex Ride: A thermoformable liner that fully adapts to the shape of your foot. It features pull loops for easier putting on and taking off and a flexible section that ensures comfortable ascents. The front part of the liner is designed with flat seams for added comfort.
• Scarpa/Vibram® Cayman PRO Sole (ISO 9523): A well-engineered sole composition and tread pattern provide a new level of confidence on various surfaces while preventing snow buildup.
