What's the advantage of the Hoji locking system?

You are always one click away from the descent! Fast and simple switching between walk and ski modes is possible with a single pull, thanks to the patented Hoji Lock System. The ski/walk mechanism is integrated into the wire system at the buckles and Ultra Lock Strap velcro strap. To switch to ski mode, simply move the rear buckle, locking the boot at 11° or 15° forward lean through a removable insert at the boot's back—and you're ready to descend!
