The Schwalbe Clik Valve DV–SCV conversion kit upgrades compatible Dunlop or DV valves to the modern Schwalbe Clik Valve system. Instead of carefully positioning and securing the pump head, you simply press it onto the converted valve until it clicks securely into place.

The SCV system can be operated with one hand and helps prevent tyre pressure loss when the pump head is removed. As the head does not need to be forced or tightly clamped onto the valve, it also reduces wear on the pump head. The kit is particularly useful for city, trekking and children’s bicycles equipped with compatible Dunlop valves.

How is the valve converted?

1. Completely deflate the inner tube.
2. Loosen the union nut and remove the existing Dunlop valve core.
3. Insert the Schwalbe Clik Valve core and tighten the union nut by hand.
4. Fit the supplied adapter to the appropriate connection in your existing pump head.
5. Press the pump head onto the valve until it audibly and noticeably clicks into place.

The SCV valve can also be inflated with most conventional Presta or SV pumps equipped with a clamp-on or push-on head. For full functionality and reliable pressure readings, using the supplied SCV pump adapter is recommended.
