The boot construction is built using Prolite technology, which reinforces the minimalist shell design only in the most heavily loaded areas—the opposite of conventional shell manufacturing. The shell is made from a strong and durable Grilamid plastic compound using the True Flex system, which ensures that the plastic's characteristics remain unchanged with temperature fluctuations. To come as close as possible to natural walking motion, the Backland Pro is complemented by Frictionless Pivot technology on the sides, offering a range of motion of up to 74 degrees. The thermoformable Memory Fit Platinum Light inner liner provides a perfect fit through heat molding and maintains desired shapes thanks to Dynashape foam. With a flex index of 100, the innovative and reliable Boa Fit System for closure adjustment, and the Free Lock 4.0 system for switching between walking and skiing modes, the Backland Pro will perform excellently even on demanding terrain.

• Memory Fit 3D: The inner liner of the touring boot is made using the Memory Fit 3D system, which describes pre-shaped thermoformable foam that reduces discomfort from the first use. In some areas, foam is replaced by Dynashape material, which continuously adapts to the foot during wear. Depending on the inner liner version, Dynashape appears in: Silver (heel area), Gold (heel and lateral foot area), and Platinum. For optimal fit, the inner liner is heat-molded to conform to the user's foot and leg shape. For inner liner temperature regulation, 3M^TM Thinsulate insulating fill is used, which traps the maximum amount of warm air in the core with its finer fibers, even if the boot gets wet.
