The aluminium base in the heel area is complemented by carbon fibre reinforcement, which ensures perfect stiffness during more aggressive skiing. Since skis bend convexly under load, Marker Alpinist bindings are distinguished by Active Length Compensation technology, which allows the binding to move during compression in turns and prevents unwanted release. The toe area is fitted with a layer of elastomers for protection against mechanical damage and to facilitate easier entry, and is complemented by an Anti-Ice system that prevents snow buildup around the pins. The minimally constructed heel binding offers 3 angles in walk mode and simple lever switching using your ski pole.
