Touring Binding Marker Kingpin 13 75 - 100 mm

In response to the demands of all serious freeride skiers, Marker presents the redesigned innovative Kingpin 13 touring binding, which will enable all feats both in the resort, steep couloirs and the highest peaks. The Kingpin 13 binding is distinguished by ease of use and a relatively light frameless construction with full performance. The new binding head now includes two pairs of springs, made with the same technology as the Marker Alpinist binding. This has reduced weight by a full 80 g. The innovative technical Kingpin 13 bindings are designed for aggressive skiers who prioritize reliability during all-day ascents and demanding descents. At the heel, instead of pins, a system similar to the crampon attachment on alpine skis is used, providing strong grip of the rear part and stability. In case of overload, the bindings are finished on the side with two rollers for lateral release, while vertical release is controlled via a preloaded plate, just like on alpine bindings. Kingpin 13 are the first bindings to be awarded the DIN/ISO 13992:2007 certification, meaning they have been certified for safety by TÜV for certified DIN release. With Kingpin 13, Marker has thus offered freeride skiers a light and capable binding that will reliably follow them on all adventures.
